We really procrastinated this year and carved the pumpkin in record time, we were lucky enough to have a small pumpkin that Red Grandma had bought the weekend before.  We all agreed it was stinky inside!

The best things in life

Seriously, can we all agree some of the best things in life are packages that show up on your door step.  I kept calling it the "mystery box" to get Elizabeth all hyped up, I need no hyping.  I can get a box of diapers from amazon in the mail and be excited.

But this box was full of goodies from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jim so you knew there was yummy stuff inside!

 The girls got a neat candy pumpkin necklace kit, chocolate covered pretzel sticks, chocolate covered pretzels, Pumpkin peeps (already gone), three cookie cutters and halloween socks.  Being totally honest I stole the chocolate covered pretzels, I'm not sure they would truly appreciate them, but they got the sticks.

Thank you Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jim!!! We love you!



Ok, so I don't understand the water coming out of the holes.

Surely, mom would get mad if I just got wet for the heck of it.

Oh wait...I'm supposed to get wet!!!

 This is just awesome...what else can I do!!??

 I can terrorize other kids and run into them with my arms out wide!!!

 Hmmmmm, let me collect my thoughts on what to do next.

 ahhh crap, I'm just exhausted someone come get me, change my diaper and put me in dry clothes.



Fall at the mouse house

 I pretty much love anything involving a pumpkin and put some mouse ears on it and I'm in love...

They had some super cute decorations going on at Disney

Liz got to experience her very first "big" roller coaster at Disney, this is her waiting in line at Splash Mountain and she was so patient to ride and didn't even get scared when the ride all but shut down right before the big big drop and there was a line up of 7 "logs" ready to go.  I was of course looking for escape routes...

The ride home...Lizzy catching flies.  So worth it to let them sleep for an hour on the way home.

Boo! Our little girl is two!

Miss Anna Kate turned two on October 2nd and had a cute little pumpkiny halloweenish party.  What else are you supposed to do when at this time of year there are just a ton of the cutest things to buy with pumpkins thrown all over them.

 The first thing we did was paint pumpkins.  Luckily I was smart enough to buy crayola washable paint so really the kids just smeared paint on a pumpkin and it got kinda messy.  Hopefully it all washed out of the clothes.  It washed out of ours so I assume it did for everyone...

Even Uncle David dared to get close to a child with a sponge brush full of paint.

 

 Next, we decorated pumpkin cookies, I bought a 5 lb tub of orange frosting from Publix and let the kids go crazy with the decorating.  The funny part was that they didn't really understand they could eat them afterward. Ethan doing some serious frosting slopping

 And ohhhh the cake.  Anna Kate totally associates pumpkins with her birthday now and breaks in habby birday to youuuuu when she sees one.

 One of Anna Kate's presents...meet baby "two" at least that's the name I'm campaigning for.  Some of you will understand and also having a big sister means we don't have to avoid eye contact when she starts coming at you with the stroller, Elizabeth is happy to roll her around :)
