Family picture day

Before I show off some of the super cute family photos we have now have thanks to one awesome photographer willing to work with our crazy children (Thanks Greg!!!) I have some cute
photos from the last week or so.  Aunt Jan spoiled the babies something awful and they have matching pajamas, they don't like them one bit, haha.
Elizabeth's whale from school.  I only presume they talked about Jonah.  I thought it was pretty cool and shows the things you can make with a brown paper bag.  A+ for creativity.

Elizabeth's soccer team wrapped up their season and she is already asking to play in the spring.
I only wish she could have the same coach but she will get left behind in the age break from everyone else.  We could have not have asked for a better experience.
On to the family pics...

 and the Christmas card photo...

I'm just so thankful to have an updated family photo!

Turkey Day

The girls had performances at school today celebrating Thanksgiving day,
so I had to turkey them up for the big day.
I wish I had noticed Anna Kate's bow was upside down.
But it's super cute anyways. I found some turkey bows at consignment sale and could not resist.
How awesome is it that Anna Kate's pacifier coordinates with the bow!
I could not get a clear shot of Elizabeth's bow, the flash just bounced off it, but I promise it's
very cute.
Liz sporting turkey headgear.

Anna Kate just rocked out and had a wonderful time dancing through the whole thing.

Elizabeth was a wonderful 4 year old and performed just as she should.

The big scary people!!

I was browsing through some pictures this morning and cannot believe I forgot to post these!
We went to Hollywood Studios (previously known as MGM) in October.
We had the best time there mostly because it was not crowded and they seriously had characters all over the place.  We have never bothered to wait in a line to meet a character at Magic Kingdom, but here they are just hanging out waiting for kids.
These guys are from Little Einsteins...we don't get to watch them enough for me to know their names but this is the best picture of AK and Elizabeth!
We randomly wandered into the Toy Story picture spot, not sure at all what was in there.
I love the green aliens because that is who Elizabeth has declared is singing songs on a kids yoga cd I keep in the car.  Now when I listen to it, all I think about is little aliens.
And then how lucky were we to walk in and get a picture with Woody?
Anna Kate was not very excited about meeting Woody because he was no less than 6 ft. 5 in with hat.
Even the cast member handler made the comment that "in real life, Woody is very very tall".
As if Elizabeth thinks he's real, I guess it's the whole "magic" thing Disney has going on.
Anna Kate is only there because Lizzy is a buffer and wouldn't let go of her hand.
That is deep concern on her face.

When did it get to be almost Thanksgiving?

I know I'm not the first person to turn around and say, "wow! where did the last three weeks go?" but geez, I feel like it was just Halloween a week ago.  I haven't even really taken pictures, which says a lot.
I have had a few exciting things happen in the last two weeks mostly involving furniture.
We went on a little trip up to Statesboro and it is one of my favorite times of the year.
The cotton fields are ready to be picked and it just looks so neat, like big fields of snow.
I don't think the guy behind me is to impressed with me taking photos and driving.

Yes that truck is carrying a lot of money.
I have been on the hunt to transform Anna Kate's room into a big girl room, or at least I'm starting now so that in a few months when she's ready to move into a big bed I'm ready..
so I have found two beds.
One I found at Deal's in Statesboro and one from LaRoche's here in Ormond.
I'm very excited to get them cleaned up.
Then my very favorite thing, my new desk.
We keep our computer and printer out in the kitchen which kind of drives us nuts, so I've been searching for the perfect desk to use as an office type desk in our room.
I love it so much and I'm eternally grateful to Cindy for convincing me to get it.  I can't believe I almost walked away.  It is so heavy I can't hardly move it around by myself.

Now I need a chair!
