Field day!!!

Yesterday was field day at Lizzy's school. I remember this as a huge highlight to my year. Running races, doing the big parachute thing, having treats and all kinds of fun! My friend, Chrissie, and I volunteered as part of the PTA, not our actual class so we didn't get to hang all day with our girls but we got to see lots of kids having fun and a bunch of my dear friends kiddos. Kind of a priceless day if you ask me. These are the highlights of the day! The gigantic ball thing going on behind us, the wind would pick up and zoom!! That ball was gone! Then our station. We did a relay race where the kids all had to pass a wet sponge over their heads and the last person had to wring it out in a bucket. We have all kinds of stories about that but they are not suitable for the blog, haha!!
Field day was a fun day!!

Open pool season

We have officially hit the season of super hot (90 degree plus) days. Not much to do on these days but be in a pool. So this is how we got through the day. Chrissie and Kenny invited us over for some grilled yummy food and swim fun with Delaney and Lucy. We ate lunch pool side and and then the girls had a jump contest. So much fun!! I'm especially impressed with Anna Kate's commitment to the belly flop.
