Poor Miss Anna Kate had just a mop of hair that I decided looked like a mad scientist on even some of her best days. We decided to just break down and take her for the first hair cut. I made the bad decision of trying to cut Elizabeth's hair for a few months when she was about this size and the poor kid looked like she cut it herself with safety scissors. This was playing it safe for me.

The hair staylist was pretty darn smart and this was not her first rodeo. She gave AK the water bottle and it was game over, she was lost in another world, mesmerized by it.
It may not look like it but the stylist took off more than an inch on the back and gave the bangs a nice even trim (unlike what I'm capable of). She even got the sucker for a reward of good behavior.
