T-Ball time

We have ventured into another sport with Elizabeth this week. 

Our coach is really into softball and asked for all the girls to be on his team so we have the only all girl team in the league, playing against the boys. The good part is everyone bats and everyone crosses home plate so every game is a tie...pretty cute to see the kids trying their best to throw someone out at first and the first baseman is staring off into space. Elizabeth played shortstop most the time and we laughed at her coach trying to explain a force out at second...because no one gets out.

 The grill needs to be taken off...it weighs the helmet down so much it falls down while she runs, never mind the helmet is just big on her.  Just to be clear there is no lack of pink items in the baseball/softball section of every store, in fact it can't really be avoided especially when they see it.  Pink gloves/pink bats/pink helmets...
