You know what happens when it takes a month for you to log on to blogger? They change everything about how you normally do stuff. I've just spent a half hour re learning how to post a blog! The other thing that happens is you forget your password. That was just plain annoying.
I have to make a quick summary of the things that have happened in the last month:
Lizzy had her last soccer game.
I think she loves soccer but at the same time isn't a fan of all the running. Kind of poses a little problem, hence the photo of her walking one way while her teammate is running the other way.
Anna Kate I think was thrilled with the end of soccer season. She has one more year till she can get out there and play a little. I'm scared for the other kids when Anna Kate gets out there.
Lizzy had her last day of school. I always looked forward with a mix of happy and sad to her starting kindergarten. I never considered the feelings of when she finished. I haven't really come to terms with Elizabeth G. Clark, first grader.
Here is Lizzy's class, she is sitting right next to her bestie, Delaney.
Lizzy with her teacher, Mrs. Gilbert on the right and asst. teacher Mrs. Willet on the left.
I can't even say enough about Mrs. Gilbert. If I could have her every year I would be happy. She is one amazing teacher.

Then on to the most important thing....
The new member of our family, the latest love of our life!
Kota the Dog!
We felt it was time to get another family pet. We knew that our dear extended family in Statesboro had a dog that was in need of a forever home. The time was right and here we are with a sweet loving puppy. We could not ask for a better temperament in a dog and all she wants in return is to be near you.
She loves the girls and has learned very quickly how far she can go with them.
We couldn't be happier and are blending very well!
One of the only issues is apparently she likes the way cucumber plants taste and has been eating on it. Poor Lizzy, her cucumber plant was really doing well too!
We've lost only a few stuffed animals and the motto is we must be "defensive drivers". It's our responsibility to save our stuff from Kota. So the girls are getting very good about closing their doors and keeping things up off the floor. It's kind of nice to say if you don't clean this up it will get torn to bits!
Looking for things along the fence line.
The girls hanging out in the hammock. I just have to say that I LOVE the fence now that it's done and I also love our backyard with only one playset. The demo of the playset is a post all its own.
